This is really great news. It was widely known that Spain was one of the worst affected countries by the recession and has really struggled to recover. It will be interesting to see when the property prices actually begin to rise again.

Brazil is by far the place to watch at the moment. With hosting the World Cup in 2014 and Olympics in 2016, the country is undergoing massive change and redevelopment.

This is bound to have an effect on property prices.

This is interesting that the bad weather over the winter in the UK has affected the overseas property market and persuaded people to move elsewhere.

A 48% rise in the number of mortgage applications during March is extraordinary, although there are still many countries that are struggling to come out of the property market crash.

Nice blog. This is clearly great news for Brazil. Many people feel Brazil has the image of being a poverty stricken country, but with the social economic divide apparently narrowing, opinions should change. Hosting the Olympics in 2016 should also help to raise the country’s profile significantly.
