Natal is the closest point from Latin America to Europe and can be reached from most Europeans cities in only 6-8 hours. Natal receives tourists from every corner of the world and has seen a 175% growth in international tourism over the last couple of years. Not only is Natal the closest point to from Latin America to Europe, it also enjoys the best climate in Brazil. Since Natal is only 5 degrees south from the equator, the seasonal variations are very small. Most of the year the day temperature is around 27-29 degrees Celsius and the night temperature rarely falls below 24 degrees.
